Assintecal promotes the export of components for the leather-footwear industry through the By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals program. It is carried out in partnership with Apex-Brasil - Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. Among its activities is Original By Brasil.
The portal enables online search of information and products of the companies participating in the project. It supports search by type of material, colors and other details. In addition, it also allows buyers to contact companies and request samples. Participation is free of charge and the only thing the company needs to do is send products or photos to be posted on the website.

Results backed by numbers
In 2017, the companies participating in the By Brazil project exported US$ 285 million – which accounts for a 6-percent increase over the previous year. The project’s companies exported Brazilian products to 77 countries. The main destinations were China, Argentina, Mexico and Germany, which represented more than 40 percent of total exports. PRODUCTS: among the main products showing higher growth rates throughout the year (in US$), compared with the previous year, were laminates (+10%), rubber-based adhesives (+21%), pigments and their preparations (+56%), and sewing/stitching threads (+38%).
