The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), which took place in Shanghai from September 3rd to 5th, yielded excellent results for Brazilian companies specializing in leather and footwear components and chemicals. Their participation was supported by Brazilian Materials, an internationalization program for the sector maintained by the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

According to a report generated by Assintecal, the companies conducted R11.77million(US2.18 million) in business over the three days of the event. Including sales that were in the works during the fair, the total figure is expected to reach R75.6million(US14 million). Assintecal’s International Market Manager, Luiz Ribas Júnior, highlights that participation was positive, with 146 business contacts from markets in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. “The fair, even happening during a turbulent time in the international landscape, was fundamental for companies to present their products and do business with a highly specialized audience of over 30,000 visitors from 25 countries,” says Ribas Júnior.

The companies Tanac, Nokopiel, Seta, Corium, and MK Química participated in ACLE with support from Brazilian Materials.
