The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear, and Artifacts (Assintecal), through the Integra Moda project—a partnership with the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae)—is organizing the first edition of the Mission to France. The initiative is taking place in Paris from September 15th to 19th and includes an immersion into France’s fashion market culture.

The agenda includes visits to Première Vision, one of Europe’s leading fashion trade shows for components and textiles, as well as the famous Champs-Élysées, Avenue Montaigne, and Galeries Lafayette. In these locations, participants will engage with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Longchamp, Chanel, Dior, Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Zara, Lacoste, Prada, Armani, Valentino, Balenciaga, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Celine, Chloé, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo, Yves Saint Laurent, and Veja.

Ingrid Cardoso, the manager of the Integra Moda partnership and Assintecal’s Research and Design Hub, emphasizes that the mission’s goal is to deepen and validate the analyses developed in the Inspirations Research project, which is presented biannually at INSPIRAMAIS. Among the generated impacts, Ingrid highlights the strengthening of the connection between global knowledge and the reality of Brazilian territories, broadening small businesses’ access to international trends, methodologies, and references. “With this project, we also aim to stimulate innovation and sustainability in Brazilian fashion businesses,” she says.

Following the Mission, a Strategic Technical Report will be created, featuring in-depth analyses, innovation case studies, and practical insights for Brazilian small businesses. In addition to the document, lectures will be held, with presentations by experts at mapped events, and content curation focused on transferring the knowledge collected during the Mission.

Joining Ingrid on the Mission are Francinne Bacelar, the National Fashion Manager at Sebrae Nacional, and Douglas Panatta, an expert from Assintecal’s Research and Design Hub.
