among the innovations of the second online edition of the largest design,
innovation and sustainability program for materials for world fashion
From the digital version of a physical event to
the beginning of a new experience created from the marketplace concept. This is
the proposal for the evolution of Inspiramais - the only design, innovation and sustainability program for
materials for world fashion. The next edition will take place on January 26 and
27.
Created a decade ago, Inspiramais
went through a major transformation in 2020, due to the pandemic. After 20
in-person editions, held in São Paulo/SP the last few times, it completely
migrated to the virtual environment in August. The experience was successful:
it had over 50 thousand accesses, participants from 48 countries, about 3
thousand business meetings and 1.5 thousand hours of virtual conferences.
“The first digital Inspiramais was a
very innovative project. We listened to the companies, reorganized the tools
and proposed a change of concept. Now, it is no longer just an event to be a
digital business platform”, Ricardo Almeida explains, key account director of
BriviaDez, responsible for execution of the project, which includes a space for
exhibitors, business rounds and talks.
Innovations for the
market
Another innovation is about the duration of the exhibit, which will be extended from two days to over one month, with the stands becoming available for viewing and generating opportunities. There will be two days of product launches in the live videos of the exhibiting companies. The talks, in turn, will provide a space for keynote addresses, increasing the access time to the contents. Each week, there will be talks with the main clothing brands.
In addition, companies will no
longer be exhibitors, but will now have their own branded showroom and be able
to promote their own panels, which are part of the official program. That way,
they will have more freedom to carry out scheduling in their spaces.
Exhibitors will be able to show
their products through videos and photos, schedule online meetings (by e-mail,
chat, Whatsapp, Google Meet) and close deals. There will also be a virtual
environment for requesting estimates. The experience will be more fluid and
interactive. And, as in the first digital edition, exhibitors will receive
training to extract all the possibilities the platform has to offer.
According to Ricardo Almeida, after the
pandemic, the tendency is for there to be an increasingly digital presence when
holding events. "The geographical limits have been expanded, increasing
the participation of exhibitors and visitors. There is no need for physical
travel and that reduces costs, optimizing the entire process”, he stresses.
Perspective of the sectors
"We were surprised by the results of the first edition. In addition, it was a valuable test, which gave us a lot of feedback for improvements. It was based on this learning that we decided to evolve and prepare a second digital stage, which will be much more complete in terms of experience", the superintendent of Associação Brasileira de Empresas de Componentes para Couro, Calçados e Artefatos [Brazilian Association of Leather, Footwear and Component Companies] (Assintecal) highlights, Ilse Guimarães.
In an evaluation from the president
of Associação Brasileira da Indústria
Têxtil e de Confecção [Brazilian Association of the Textile and Clothing
Industry] (Abit), Fernando Valente Pimentel, Inspiramais has great relevance
for the fashion segment, including textiles, clothing, footwear and
accessories. "It is a unique time to launch the best proposals and
suggestions for companies to develop their products and services to serve the
market and its customers in an appropriate, sustainable and technologically
advanced way".
For the executive president of Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), José Fernando Bello, the event
set the bar. "We have a very cohesive and fine-tuned group to bring the
best experience in carrying out an event of this kind. Inspiramais is an
exhibit that is very consolidated in the Brazilian fashion and design calendar,
long awaited by the leather sector and by the sector of all materials, and
which again will be the benchmark for developing collections”.
“Today, Inspiramais is a reference
in the productive and sectorial integration, in joining efforts, in collective
construction and in generating business. This makes us proud, as it is not an
easy task. It requires looking beyond each production chain and proves that
synergy and the connection between sectors and industries is possible”, says
the executive director of Associação
Brasileira das Indústrias de Mobiliário [Brazilian Association of Furniture
Industries] (Abimóvel), Cândida Cervieri.
"Antidote" Theme
An extensive survey conducted by the
Research Center of the event resulted in a series of inspirational references,
in addition to the color palette for the 2022_I season. These are elements that
will serve as inspiration for the footwear and accessories, clothing, furniture
and jewelry segments, which seek innovative fashion for their collections. The
concepts Naturar and Daily Life tie together the references linked to the
theme.
